Master Data Science and Engineering (SID)

The SID Master at the Université de Rouen Normandie (UFR des Sciences et Techniques) develops theoretical, computational, programming and analysis skills for mobile and embedded techs, through the general master's core and programming requirements. The Master program leverages the strengths of the LITIS lab (EA 4108), and the research institute Normastic (FR CNRS 3638) in machine learning, data mining, image and signal processing. The program is co-accredited with the INSA Rouen Normandie, a renowned French school of engineering.

Students will learn to integrate skills with the aim of becoming high level executives, able to design, build and implement IT infrastructures and systems, aiming at collecting, storing, analyzing and interpreting data, so as to generate appropriate, real-time feedback, in changing business contexts.

This Master is part of the MINMACS graduate school, a joint graduate school of the mathematics and information sciences departments of the three major universities (Caen, Le Havre and Rouen) and Grande Ecoles (ENSICaen and INSA Rouen) in Normandy.

Master's program:

The SID master's program offers three tracks, listed below, with many courses shared by the three tracks, especially in the first year.
