The MINMACS Grad'School

The MINMACS Grad'School is a joint graduate school of the mathematics and information sciences departments of the three major universities (Caen, Le Havre and Rouen) and Grande Ecoles (ENSICaen and INSA Rouen) in Normandy.

The Master's degree program focuses on the interface between mathematics and information sciences with two majors, namely "Mathematical Informatics" and "Data Science", as well as several high-profile interdisciplinary challenges in digital sciences. The program is suitable for those who wish to pursue research by undertaking a PhD and those wishing to enter industry.

The students, selected according to the highest standards, will be offered:

  • a coordinated, highly diverse course program, where each student elaborates his own curriculum from the offered courses which include those from the partner Master's degrees and newly designed ones;
  • intensive mentoring during the whole duration of studies;
  • extensive in-lab embedding;
  • international mobility opportunities.
  • access to all our research groups and resources in Normandy for a PhD program.


10 one-year scholarships will be offered for the Master's second year (5 in 2020 and 5 in 2021) as well as 6 two-year scholarships (3 in 2020 and 3 in 2021).

To apply, you must submit an application file consisting of the following documents:

  • CV,
  • bachelor's and master's transcripts,
  • copies of post-baccalaureate diplomas,
  • cover letter specifying the project within the graduate school,
  • recommandation letters.
The deadline for applications is July 10

Also note that two 3-year doctoral scholarships will be offered in 2021 to the best students in the program.
