Prerequisite courses to apply to Master 1

The maximum number of students enrolled in the first year of Master SID (GIME and SD) is 36. Applications will be reviewed and selected by the Selection Board.

Applicants must hold a licence (french for Bachelor) in one of the following areas:

  • Computer Engineering
  • Computer Science
  • Applied Mathematics
Please note that M1 courses are taught in French.

Prerequisite courses to apply to Master 2

If your hold the M1 SID, you have the right to automatically enroll at the M2 SID-SD or SID-GIME.

If you hold a Master 1 or any equivalent postgraduate diploma in a field compatible with the M1 SID curriculum, you may apply to M2 SID-SD or M2 SID-GIME. Applications will be reviewed and selected by the Selection Board.

Please note that M2 SID-SD courses are taught in English and M2 SID-GIME courses are taught in French.

The application process depends on where you already enrolled:


If you already enrolled at the Université de Rouen, or any other university in France or in Europe, go to the online application: https://ecandidat.univ-rouen.fr/
The application will include:

  • A current resume
  • A short personal statement describing your career objectives
  • Test scores and grades since High School Diploma


if you have an undergraduate foreign diploma, are a national of a non-EU Member State of the European Economic Area with a CEF (Center for Studies in France, Centre pour les études en France), living in your country, you MUST apply via the Campus France website of your country.
